TENNIS LESSONS
Work on your game in a format that suits you: private lessons, semi-private lessons for two or group lessons for up to four players. Focused coaching connects technique with the situations you meet during rallies and points.

The right tennis experience gives a child something to build on. The junior program at Mouratoglou Tennis Center Westchester combines introductory ball stages with school-age development and competitive training. Young players can grow through a setting that reflects their experience, readiness and interest in the game. From learning to rally to preparing for tournaments, the team helps families understand the options and identify a suitable next step.

Juniors who are ready for a greater challenge can explore a pathway focused on more demanding play. Elite groups and Academy training develop the connection between reliable technique, movement and decisions during points. The competitive offer includes preparation for school tennis and tournament play, with Match Play Practice providing opportunities to apply training against other juniors.
Orange Ball Elite
Invitation-only Orange Ball Elite develops stronger rally skills, advanced footwork and tactical awareness for players ready for more demanding orange-ball training.
Green Dot Elite
Invitation-only Green Dot Elite strengthens technique and point construction while preparing developing competitors for USTA Youth Progression events.
Junior Varsity and Varsity
Junior Varsity and Varsity training develops stroke reliability, court coverage and match strategy for players preparing for or participating in school-team tennis.
Academy
Academy training provides competitive juniors in 14-and-under and 18-and-under groups with technical, tactical and athletic work directed toward tournament play.
Match Play Practice
Match Play Practice helps juniors enrolled in programming test tactics, build between-point routines and make decisions under competitive pressure.

A strong foundation begins with a learning environment that fits the player. Red Ball, Orange Ball and Green Dot introduce progressively more demanding movement, rally skills and point play. Middle- and high-school beginners also have a route into tennis without having to enter through the younger ball-stage groups.
Red Ball
Red Ball introduces the foundations of tennis through movement, ball control and first exchanges across the net.
Orange Ball
Orange Ball builds stroke fundamentals, movement and rally confidence with equipment and court dimensions adapted to developing players.
Green Dot
Green Dot helps juniors develop rally consistency, technique and tactics on a full-size court with lower-compression balls.
Middle and High School: Beginner and Intermediate
Beginner and Intermediate training helps older juniors develop stroke mechanics, footwork, rules and point-play skills in a setting suited to their experience.

A familiar club environment gives families a place to return as their child’s tennis develops. The facility combines four Har-Tru clay courts and two indoor hard courts, with winter enclosure of the clay courts supporting continued play through the seasons. Fitness and weight areas, an aquatics center and spa services are available within the wider club. The café adds a place to pause around training, and the team can explain the access arrangements for families and accompanying adults.

Every junior brings a different combination of coordination, confidence and motivation to the court. The Mouratoglou methodology encourages coaches to understand those differences and connect technical work with the player’s wider development. Patrick Mouratoglou’s coaching philosophy gives attention to tactics, physical demands and the mental side of competition alongside strokes. In Westchester, the aim is to help young players understand their learning and take ownership of a game that continues to grow.
The offer includes Red Ball, Orange Ball and Green Dot, invitation-only Elite groups, middle- and high-school training, the Academy and Match Play Practice. The team can explain how those options relate to your child’s current experience.
