This is followed by French lessons with teachers from the Mouratoglou International School, before a second session of tennis and fitness training at the end of the day.

The Game Report

The review following each week of the course

At the end of the Tennis & French Camp, your child will take home their Game Report: a personalised summary of what they have worked on, and what lies ahead to help them continue to improve.

  • Technique — their key points of contact when serving, returning, playing from the baseline and at the net, as well as the reflexes they are still developing during rallies.
  • Mental — how they react in the moments that decide a point or a match.
  • Physical — their results in physical tests, compared against age-appropriate benchmarks.
  • Priorities for the future — what has been learnt this week and the areas to focus on first.

Week after week, the Game Report allows you to track your child’s progress over time. It also comes with a version designed to be shared on social media.

Everywhere else, you leave with a score. Here, you leave knowing exactly what sort of player you are.

Accommodation: Everything in one place

Three accommodation options are available at the time of enrolment, all suitable for children aged 9 to 17: the boarding house, on campus itself; or, when accompanied by an adult, the 4★ Mouratoglou Hotel & Resort or the Residence. Whichever option you choose, full board can be added as an extra.

The whole programme has been designed to ensure that every young person can develop in a comfortable environment, with facilities tailored to the rhythm of the training week. The campus brings together a mix of nationalities: a community life which, off the courts, also opens up young people to other cultures.

Options at the Tennis & French Camp

  • One-to-One – Individual coaching (3 hours or 5 hours)

One hour of one-to-one coaching with an Academy coach, in addition to the group sessions. This can be booked as a 3-hour or 5-hour package, to be arranged at your convenience throughout the week, to work specifically on the areas identified during group training sessions.

  • boost mental stage tennis france

    Mental Boost – 3 sessions

Three key steps to strengthen both the mind and the game: first, identify the player’s profile; second, observe them in a real-life situation; and finally, review together what needs to be taken away from the experience. Analysis and debriefing sessions can be slotted into the gaps between physical training sessions.

  • Recovery – Baths, pressotherapy, massage

Cold baths, pressotherapy, massage: the Academy’s sports medicine centre steps in between training days to help the body recover. A health questionnaire must be completed beforehand to rule out any contraindications.

  • Recovery Pack

Two pressotherapy sessions and two recovery baths, spread out over the week to give you a breather between training days and ensure you’re well-rested right up until the last day.

  • Nutrition

Book an appointment with the Academy’s dietitian and nutritionist for a comprehensive assessment: body type, eating habits and hydration, so that your diet can be tailored to your training schedule.

  • Seance kiné recuperation massage mouratoglou

    Physical Check-up + Massage

A physical assessment, a series of fitness tests and a personalised training programme provided in the form of an individual report, followed by a 30-minute massage.

  • Pack of 4 baths

Four baths spread out over the week, to help you recover between training sessions. Useful after resuming exercise or a particularly busy period.

  • UTR Event – Saturday & Sunday

In the summer, depending on their ranking, your child may go on to take part in a UTR tournament the weekend following the camp – a chance to put what they’ve just learnt into practice in a match.

  • pension-complète-stage-tennis

    Full board

The three meals — breakfast, lunch and dinner — are served in the canteen as part of the boarding school experience. Open to children aged 9 to 17.

The Academy: an environment designed to help you progress

Image drône académie Mouratoglou

Sophia-Antipolis, between Nice and Cannes: spread over 13 hectares, the Mouratoglou Academy brings together everything required for top-level tennis. Thirty-three courts, including eight indoor courts for training sheltered from the elements. A sports medicine centre to look after the body after exercise. Fitness rooms and swimming pools, so that physical preparation can continue even whilst relaxing.

It is against this backdrop that the Tennis & French Camp takes place, on a campus where young people from all over the world come together every week — and sometimes professional players such as Holger Rune or Coco Gauff, who come here to train. For a week, participants take to the same courts, in an environment that combines high sporting standards with an international outlook.
