Back in 1996, Patrick Mouratoglou already had an uncompromising vision: to create a place where athletes of all ages, all levels and with all kinds of goals could reach their full potential. Two decades later, that vision has become a reality. The Mouratoglou Academy is now the world’s most advanced tennis training centre, built on a unique and proven coaching philosophy.
At the Mouratoglou Academy, we offer world-class coaching for everyone, in an environment where champions train all year round. Whether you’re a young beginner or an elite athlete, we’re committed to guiding you to reach your highest level.

The Mouratoglou Academy: your playground
With over 320 days of sunshine a year and 12 hectares of state-of-the-art sports facilities, the Mouratoglou Academy is one of the world’s most popular destinations for intensive outdoor tennis training all year round.
Based in Sophia Antipolis on the Côte d’Azur, the Mouratoglou Academy offers trainees from all over the world 33 clay and hard courts, as well as 8 indoor courts.
Thanks to its strategic location, Patrick Mouratoglou’s Academy is regarded as the ideal training ground for some of the world’s best tennis players. Holger Rune, Coco Gauff and Daniil Medvedev train there regularly.

What is the Mouratoglou Methodology?
There is no standard method. Every trainee is unique, requiring a bespoke approach tailored to their personality, needs and goals. That is why we refer to the Mouratoglou Methodology, which is based on five fundamental pillars:
- Listening: Gaining a deepunderstanding of each athlete, beyond mere words.
- Personalised coaching: Tailoring training to the specific needs of each player.
- Relentless pursuit of excellence: Alwaysaiming higher and pushing boundaries.
- Results-driven culture: Achieving tangible results, both on and off the court.
- Constant self-reflection: Continuously reinventing and innovating.
This methodology enables trainees to enjoy a unique and unrivalled experience.

Coaches trained by Patrick Mouratoglou
At the Mouratoglou Academy, our coaches embody excellence and are trained in the Mouratoglou Methodology, developed by Patrick Mouratoglou. As experts in tennis and physical conditioning, they take a personalised approach to supporting each player’s progress.
Drawing on their top-level experience and expertise, they tailor training to the specific needs of each athlete, whether in terms of technique, tactics, mental strength or physical fitness. By combining a listening approach, innovation and a drive for results, our coaches not only develop champions on the court, but also in life, helping them to realise their full potential.

Choosing an internship
-
Three different schedules, all based on the same method. The Player Camp (Find It) takes place in the morning: technical work organised by theme and physical conditioning, after which the rest of the day is yours. The Performance Camp (Build It) runs all day and adds the afternoon sessions that shape a competitor: match situations, tactics, mental preparation and recovery. The Tournament Camp (Prove It) puts all this to the test in a UTR tournament over two weeks in the summer. Whatever the format, the Game Report brings the camp to a close.
-
All levels are welcome, from beginners to ranked players, and groups are organised by ability. The real question is one of pace: if you want to keep your afternoons free, choose the Player Camp; if you want to follow the academy’s schedule, choose the Performance Camp; if you’re looking for competition, choose the Tournament Camp. Our advisers will guide you based on your age, your level and your goals.
-
From the age of 3 with Baby Tennis. From the age of 6, the Player Junior Camp; from 9 to 17, the Junior Performance Camp and the Tournament Camp. Adults can choose between the Player Adult Camp and the Adult Performance Camp.
-
These depend on the format and the time of year: half-day sessions for the Player Camp, and full-day sessions for the Performance Camp and the Tournament Camp. You will be provided with a detailed schedule for your week before you arrive.
-
Training sessions as part of the chosen programme, guidance from our certified coaches, access to the relevant facilities, the Game Report and the Welcome Pack. Depending on the camp, this may also include lunch (Performance Camps) or board and full board (Tournament Camp). Accommodation, meals, transfers and optional extras can be booked separately.
-
Courses are booked on a weekly basis: Monday to Friday for adults, Monday to Saturday for young people, and two weeks for the Tournament Camp. The Adult Player Camp is also available as a weekend course (Saturday and Sunday), exclusively for adults.
